Todd Hurlbut – CIO
Mr. Hurlbut is the CIO of Incline Investment Advisors, LLC (“IIA”) and Incline Investment Management (“IIM”). At IIA he is responsible for designing and managing client portfolios. At IIM he is the head trader and portfolio manager for all investment programs including The Tahoe Fund, LP.
Before starting IIA Mr. Hurlbut was the lead portfolio manager at the Putney Financial Group, a Registered Investment Advisor in San Rafael, CA. Prior to founding IIA and joining IIM he was the founder of Everett Capital Management, LLC a private investment firm and the CIO for Bradley and Co, a CA-based RIA. Mr. Hurlbut spent six years at Salomon Smith Barney in New York and San Francisco as a Vice President and Blue-Chip Council Member. At Salomon Smith Barney, he covered middle market institutional accounts and managed discretionary portfolios for high net worth individuals.
Mr. Hurlbut received a BA from the University of Virginia where he attended on a swimming scholarship. He is a Chartered Market Technician and member of the CMT Association.
Mr. Hurlbut has been fortunate to have been mentored by a few great traders throughout his career including one of the original ‘Market Wizards’ Ed Seykota. He has passed the following FINRA exams; Series 3, 7, 63 and 65. He is married and has two children and currently resides in Mill Valley, California.
Jakub Rehor – Portfolio Manager
Mr. Rehor is a portfolio manager for Incline Investment Management, LLC. He is also the Co-Founder and CIO of Lucy Labs, a cryptocurrency proprietary trading firm. He graduated from Yale University with a BA in Economics, summa cum laude. He is a CFA Charterholder and holds the Certificate in Quantitative Finance from CQF Institute in London. He is an Associated Person of Incline Investment Managment and an Associate Member of the NFA.
Jakub Started his carrier in 1997 as technology sector analyst with Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. Later Jakub would go on to be an equity analyst at Putnam Investments on the team managing the International Capital Opportunities Fund (PNVAX). From 2004 until 2013, he was an analyst and portfolio manager at Third Avenue Management where he was a partner and co-manager of the $1 billion+ Third Avenue International Value Fund (TAVIX). In 2013 Jakub launched the Crystal Bay Ubitrend Strategy which is now offered by Incline Investment Management. Jakub describes himself as a quant that can do fundamental analysis and fundamental analyst that can do quantitative finance. He also speaks seven languages.
Juan Luque – Assistant Trader & Portfolio Manager
Mr. Luque is an assistant trader and portfolio manager for Incline Investment Advisors, LLC and Incline Investment Managment, LLC. He is an Associated Person and Branch Manager of Incline Investment Managment and an Associate Member of the NFA. Juan has passed the series 3 & 30 FINRA exams.
Mr. Luque joined IIM in 2017 after graduating from Sierra Nevada College (SNC), Summa cum Laude, where he attended on a soccer scholarship. He earned a B.S.B.A. in Finance and Economics. Juan is currently the Assistant Trader for the Crystal Bay Ubitrend strategy and a number of other programs offered by both IIM and IIA. Currently Juan lives in Cajica, Columbia where he enjoys playing soccer on the weekends, exercising and writing his series, From the Trading Desk.
